Size Guide
The right size is the difference between a piece you wear every week and one that stays in the closet. Here's how to find yours. These charts are general guidance; the sizes and equivalents shown on each product page apply to that item.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure over light clothing, keep it snug but not tight, and ask someone to help if you can.
- Chest/bust: around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, with the tape level across your back.
- Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest point above your hips. For trousers, measure where you like the waistband to sit.
- Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, feet together.
- Inseam: from the crotch seam down to where you want the hem to end, on a pair of trousers that fit you well.
- Sleeve: from the center of the back of your neck, over the shoulder, down to the wrist bone, with your arm slightly bent.

Footwear
Measure your foot length: stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe, and measure from the edge of the paper at the wall to the mark. Measure both feet and go by the longer one, ideally in the afternoon, when feet are slightly larger.

Size conversions vary between styles. The size selector on each product page shows the exact US, EU, and UK equivalents for that item — always go by those.
Between sizes?
- Relaxed and oversized styles: size down for the intended look; size up if you want extra room.
- Slim and tailored styles: size up. A slightly roomy fit can be tailored; a tight one can't.
- Knitwear: take your usual size; natural fibers relax slightly with wear.
- Footwear: choose the larger size and leave about a thumb's width of space in front of your toes. Loafers are worn close to the foot and ease with wear; if you'll wear thick socks, allow for them.
Checking the fit at home
- Shirts and jackets: shoulder seams sit at the edge of your shoulders; you can move your arms freely without pulling across the back.
- Trousers: the waistband stays put without a belt; the hem touches the top of your shoe or ends just above it.
- Footwear: the heel is secure without slipping, your toes have room to move, and nothing presses at the sides. Walk for a few minutes indoors on a clean, soft surface.
